What the Role Involves
- Continuous patrols of assigned buildings on required intervals during a fire protection system impairment
- Watching for signs and conditions of fire and reporting them immediately
- Alerting occupants and calling 911 without delay when a hazard is identified
- Maintaining an accurate, contemporaneous fire watch log for every pass
- Following the building's fire control and evacuation plan
What We Look For
- Washington State security guard license, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Reliable transportation and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear written communication for logbook accountability
- Physical ability to walk stairs and patrol large properties for a full shift
